TOP was invited to do people's name in Chinese calligraphy to give away at an end of year party of a company. There were 1500 people attending with food and performance from different cultures. Those who came were employees and their family.

The calligraphy session lasted for 2 hours and there was hardly time that we could stop and rest.

Thanks to Sam and Jade who helped to make the event possible.

This was such a great experience to bring Chinese calligraphy to the hub of the city, integrating into the activity of some of Brisbane's big corporations. It took the oriental writing out of the Chinese community and extends to the zone of the professional Australians.

It is TOP's vision to bring in more creative ideas to the way Chinese calligraphy is presented so that it would be better accepted and enjoyed by the general Australian community in the future.

Another event that brought the Oriental art out to regional Queensland was Celebrate China, an event organised by Ipswich Central Library.

TOP was again invited to share the fun of the art  on the 4 Dec , at the Library.

Despite the 45 minutes drive, Som, Brenda, See , Fay and Catherine enjoyed the brush fun with the mums and kids at the region.

Although it was only a 30 minutes activity, we were so busy that there was hardly any time for us to take any photo :(
