Creative
seal script writing by primary students
It was an unprecedented experience to introduce the Seal Script to local primary students. As the
seal script does not adhere to so many rigid rules of the Chinese Calligraphy,
we decided to let the students to have a go. The results were so astounding.
The students transformed it into a new form of art which was so versatile and
full of life.
Besides, practise calligraphy calmed down the most restless students and
allow them to focus and imagine the way ancient people carved pictorial writings
on stones and cave walls.
A great way to let children stay calm and fulfil their potentials
through art.
