日出吳哥 Sunrise Angkar

日出前的護城河Moat by dawn

夜星,

在黎明前,

散發最後的光芒.

樹影,

掩映在護城河畔,

依偎著河裏白蓮.

靜謐河水,

柔柔撫慰聖殿,

輕舐它千年傷痛.

皇權爭奪,

赤色戰火,

硝煙亂舞,

染紅油油稻田.

危牆暮鼓,

九轉迴廊,

嫵媚舞伎,

橫眉冷對荒旦歷史舞台.

灰飛中,

基石錯落,

緊靠殘破廟堂.

一抹晨暉,

柔媚染黄靛藍晴空,

剪影巍峨殿堂.

迷倒無量眾生.

朝聖, 慕名, 隨俗沓至.

吳哥, 再走進世界舞台,

鎂光燈下,

重尋昔日雄偉.

收復失去尊嚴.

梵音消聲,

佛陀涅槃,

唯一聖殿守護使,

你的名字是

和平.

＜遊柬後記＞

在柬埔寨走了十五天, 是體力的鍛鍊; 意志的考驗.

這個亞洲最貧窮的國家之一, 約四百萬人每天工資低於1.25美元.

自十三世紀巳被鄰國不斷入侵, 在上世紀七十年代中期更受波爾布特赤柬血洗高棉, 歷時三年多. 全國五分之一人因此死亡. 1989年越南撤出, 1993年才立國.

建於十二世紀的吳哥古城, 當時吳哥王朝擁有50至100萬人口, 糧食充足, 繁華無比, 亦因皇族相殘, 兵荒馬亂而一度衰落.

吳哥古城, 重新受世界重视的古建築羣,雖然仍在修復中, 每年吸引數百萬遊客, 欣賞她巧奪天工的美, 沉湎她對神祗的忠誠. 謹希望她為友善可愛的高棉人帶來美好明天.

Travelling in Cambodia is a die-hard experience of the physique and the will.

She is one of the poorest countries in the world, with about 4 million people earning under US$1.25 a day.

Since the 12^th century, Cambodia has been invaded by neighbouring countries. The worst was the bloodshed led by Pol Pot, his Khmer Rouge regime. Over one-fifth of the population died. Vietnam withdrew in 1989, the King of Cambodia was restored in 1993, followed by election of the government.

Angkar City was built in the 12 century, having a population of one million and abundant food supply at that time. However, the struggle for power and foreign invasion led to the abandon of the City and the capital moved southward.

Angkar City, now a tourist mecca, is visited by millions of people every year draining billions of revenue to the country. It is hoped that its solemnity and spirituality would direct its adorable people to a new future.

一週年的感言 Reflection in The Anniversary

翠菲參加TOP聖誕聯歡會

各位、蘭亭雅聚週年慶我不能參加。現想說一

些感言。

猶記我初次參加書法班是二零一一年九月。三

年後書法班遷至Sunnybank Hill 圖書館、即現

址。當時、Catherine 被選為縂書記、Yvonne

為財政。她們倆竭盡所能，令到會務生機勃

勃，又安排社區活動、如寫揮春和書法展等，

因此招徠了不少新同學。

在余老師因病在台灣休養期間，Nathan 義不容

辭地教導同學們。Nathan 的書法造詣日漸精

進，尤擅顏體。他巳成為了班上受歡迎的老師

了。

上過月，我們有機會參與「中華文化日」。在

攤位上，老師們即席揮毫，吸引了不少書法愛

好者圍觀，好評如潮。

我認為這是宣揚中華文化的第一步。這也是余

老師的理想。希望大家未來除了勤習書法外，

還參與活動去宣揚中國國粹----書法。

A few words on the first anniversary of The

Orchid Pavilion.

I remembered that I first joined Mr. Yu's

calligraphy class in Sep.2011. The venue then was

Taiwan Centre at Sunnybank.. Three years later,

the class moved to Sunnybank Hill's library,and

Renamed "The Orchid Pavilion" initial "T O P"

Catherine was elected the Coordinator, Yvonne

the Treasurer. Since then, they both have done

a terrific job in running the class smoothly and

organizing activities successfully such as the red

couplets writing in Lunar New Year and the

calligraphy exhibition in the library.

During Mr. Yu's absence due to illness,Nathan

voluntarily took up the task. Nathan's calligraphy

Skill has reached a high level.And now he has

become a favorite tutor by all members.

Last month we had an opportunity to attend The

Cultural Day in Garden City where the teachers

demonstrated fabulous calligraphy and thus

attracted a big crowd.

I think it is a big step to promote Chinese

traditional arts to the community. Let us keep up

the good work in the future.

第一次上書法課, 是2011年初.

那時候是在Sunny Park 旁的台灣中心. 上課同學平均有十數人, 大伙兒時而靜心專注臨摹, 時而圍著老師桌聽講.

記得學了半年, 剛巧是「辛亥革命一百週年書法比賽」, 余老師就鼓勵新舊同學齊參加. 那時候真是慌張不巳, 筆還未拿定在手, 墨也未掌握濃淡, 纸性仍是一知半解. 余老師仍是安撫大家大胆嘗試.

面對潔白如玉的書法卷軸 , 書寫有閃失的話, A$20一張事小, 有損卷軸的冰清玉潔事大! 不能寫歪, 不能寫錯…..就這樣戰戰兢兢地寫了第一幅紀念辛亥革命的楷書作品.

此後, 余老師逐漸介紹棣書, 篆書, 然後行草. 後者是筆者個人認為最引人入勝, 最可抒發情懷, 表現個人性格的書體之一.

從2011-14在台灣中心期間, 遇過不少從國內到訪的書法家, 有上海來的黃奇贵老師, 何俠齋老師, 山東孫有祥老師, 無錫陸天言老師都給我們具啟發性的指導.

黃奇贵老師教畫蘭, 松, 蝦; 何俠齋老師為大家提齋名, 孫有祥老師以他的小楷＜蘭亭序＞和＜千字文＞示範書寫所需的耐性與坚持.

他們回國後仍有保持聯絡.

走在蘭亭路上, 環顧同行友人, 每每都給與一已啓示與力量. 澳洲姑娘Janis, 是跟隨余老師學習最久的大師姐, 因為看上草書, 雖然未必對文字一一了解, 就這樣與書法談了半生的情.

大隻佬醫生Greg, 寫了大半年「大」字, 忽然間, 全頁練習纸, 十五個字, 字字不同, 筆劃粗細有緻, 令人頓覺蘭亭路上柳暗花明.

＜蘭亭雅聚＞始於2014年11月, 書法班從台灣中心轉移陣地, 在圖書館重新綻放新苗, 有幸舊同學不離不棄, 余老師繼續教導, 而新加入的同學注入無限熱忱, 才走到＜蘭亭雅聚書法展＞, ＜中華文化節＞, ＜蘭亭雅聚一週年＞.

TOP is excited to be one year old. But to each individual in TOP, their writing journey varies from 7 years to a few weeks. However, we are still one.

The first time to come into contact with calligraphy was at Taiwan Centre, 2011. During that time, we crowded round Mr Yu to listen or retreat back to our little spot at the long desk to practise.

Do you remember in the same year, we were asked to take part in the CHINESE REVOLUTION 100 YEARS ANNIVERSARY COMPETITION? It’s nerve-wracking to write on the luxurious scroll for fear of making the tiniest writing error. Still we submitted our work.

Then we came across wonderful artists from China who gave us so much knowledge in calligraphy through their demonstration and experience.

Looking around TOP, there are people who are so inspiring when it comes to perseverance and passion.

Janis is one I look upon when she displays her endless love for the grass script and her determination to perfect against all odds.

Greg’s return is very encouraging and his will to keep going and advance in the art is so strong and ‘contagious’.

A lone man is hard to strive in the journey of calligraphy. But with you, we can.
